‘Lucky’ To Light Up Imaginations

Screen shot 2013-01-25 at 12.02.02 PMPromising to light up the musical imaginations of young people, The Foundation’s ART | LIFE series proudly brings INNERchamber‘s presentation Lucky to schools this winter.

Created by Ben Bolt-Martin, the story aims to demonstrate music’s intrinsic power to connect us all.

Lucky is a 40 minute music drama featuring live musicians and actors with an educational component around musical performance and personal expression.  It is written by Ben Bolt-Martin and features Abigail Winter-Culliford, Glynis Ranney, Kristi Friday and the Factory Arts Ensemble (featuring Andrew Chung, Ian Harper, George Meanwell and Graham Hargrove.

The synopsis:

When Lucky’s dog Ralph (Kristi Friday) runs away, she chases him through a hole in the fence and into the land of Melodia. In this strange world where nothing at all happens except by music, Lucky (Abigail Winter-Culliford) must learn to express herself in order to enlist the help of Melodia’s eccentric citizenry (The Factory Arts Ensemble) to rescue Ralph from the enchantments of Queen Lyrica (Barbara Fulton).

These presentations, along with all other Foundation’s ART | LIFE opportunities, are freely offered to Avon Maitland Schools by way of ongoing community support.
