The Foundation for Education is a not-for-profit charitable organization that has served the counties of Perth and Huron (Ontario, Canada) since 1989.
Its mission is to enrich and support youth ‘from cradle to career’ – a goal accomplished in several ways:
It produces career awareness events and brings business, education and community together to form partnerships that provide secondary level students (ages 14-19) apprenticeship and mentoring opportunities to prepare them for their future.
It delivers professional arts & humanitarian workshops to elementary level students (ages 5-13) in effort to broaden kids’ experiences and enhance established curriculum.
And, it provides grants, financial services and consultation to schools and councils for capital projects (classroom technology, accessible playgrounds), specific initiatives (ie: humanitarian, environmental, etc.) and other campaigns that benefit youth.
