The Foundation recently saluted the local healthcare sector for their work in providing hundreds of hands-on experiences for students over the last two decades.
The celebration and video launch was held at the Arden Park Hotel in Stratford on April 12 and included guest presentations from HealthKick’s Laura Overholt and students Callie Gross and Sammy Hammond from St. Michael’s Catholic Secondary School.

“For year after year many of our local healthcare providers have managed to take some of the most stressful occupations in the world and voluntarily add on top of it the work of training, mentoring and inspiring youth.
As educators, community members, moms and dads we wanted to applaud them, thank them and and to confirm that that extra bit of themselves that they give everyday is seen, appreciated and – as attested by the video above and mass of student testimonials – will be paid forward and in full through the next generation.”
